... a very brief cafe stop and a spot retail therapy...
Bless her, Val looks so much like Angelo, so in spite of my dislike for pink I decked her off in every shade of pink and pattern I could lay my hands on...
Once outdoors we ran our errand, then settled at Crussh Food and Juice bar in Notting Hill. I had lovely pumpkin soup to warm myself up from the afternoon wintery rainy chill.
She had her milk and was out for the count.
We then headed to GAP. I really wanted to get her something from their Peter Rabbit Limited edition range. I finally settled on a cute but practical jumper, not TOO PINK and corduroy trouser to go with it from the sale rack.
Our day came to a close when we popped in to join Angelo at his Gruffalo Picnic, at his nursery.
I've always been very nervous venturing out alone with my newborn. Today went almost to plan (we had the unplanned feed and nappy change stop), so hope to have more outings with Valentina in the coming weeks.
How do you spend time with your newborn in the winter months... when you're not cuddling of course.

ReplyDeleteShe is so precious. Enjoy every moment, all the mommy moments, baby moments, or just mommy and daughter moments. Cute outfits that you put on her and the one you chose from Gap. Congratulations on your little princess of the family-girls are meant to be princesses.
